Greg Lukens is an ISA Certified Arborist (PN-2052A) and the owner and operator of Lukens Tree Preservation.
Greg Lukens performs all work with his well trained team during all phases of tree care, from pruning and bracing to removals. In addition, Lukens Tree Preservation only hires I.S.A. Certified arborists, or those apprenticing to become certified. This insures the very best quality of workmanship and maintains a high level of integrity and passion for the field of arboriculture.
Whether young or mature trees, Lukens Tree Preservation will prune to emphasize a tree’s natural shape with health, safety and artistic considerations in mind.
Maintenance pruning is recommended to improve or maintain a tree’s health and structure including the removal of visibly defined hazards. On mature trees, this is accomplished most effeciently and sensitively by climbing the tree using the most advanced tree climbing techniques. In almost all cases, for the benefit of the tree, it is climbed without climbing spurs. We strive to use the most ecologically friendly methods (including bio-degradable bar oil for all our chainsaws) and adhere to all of the International Society of Arboriculture standards for proper tree care.
